Monday’s football game between Juventus and Udinese, the two teams with entirely different ambitions for the remainder of the season. Juve aim to recover from a heart-breaking loss to Inter and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Zebrette. Pacey forward Federico Chiesa is pushing for a recall to the starting XI, while defender Danilo misses out through suspension. Serbia goal-scoring machine Dusan Vlahovic should recover in time to face Udinese.

The visitors, on the other hand, failed to win the previous five league matches. Udinese aim to escape the danger zone, but given their difficulties in front of goal, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the home side. Gerard Deulofeu is a major doubt and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off, while both Ebosse and Bijol are out of contention with injuries, speaking of the visiting team.

Juventus

Max Allegri's team approached the match with Inter after an unexpected 1-1 home defeat to Empoli, so they had no right to misfire. From the first minutes Juventus concreted the approaches to their own goal, but towards the end of the first half the defensive redoubts failed - Federico Gatti sliced the ball into Szczęsny's net. Juve gradually seized the initiative in the second half, but failed to create any truly dangerous chances - 0:1. Now the Bianconeri are four points behind Inter with a game in hand. At the same time, Juventus now have to hold on to second place - the handicap from third-placed AC Milan has been reduced to the same four points.

Udinese

Gabriele Cioffi's team hosted Monza in the previous round, and this meeting turned out to be perhaps the most boring of the whole weekend. According to the statistics of expected goals, the rivals did not even score two goals and parted ways - 0:0. For Udinese, this draw was the 13th in 23 rounds. The Stripes have only two wins, and the handicap from the relegation zone is still dangerous - only one point.

12 of the last 14 face-to-face meetings between the rivals ended in Juventus victories.

In 8 out of 11 previous games Udinese scored more than two goals. Udinese have conceded at least twice in 8 of their last 11 meetings.

Shining Lights of Italian Soccer: Juventus and Udinese

Football or soccer, as it's known in some countries, has always been a major part of Italian culture. Two teams contributing significantly to this rich history are Juventus and Udinese. Each team possesses its own story, unique struggles, and victories.

A Snapshot of Juventus

Located in Turin, Juventus is indisputably one of the most successful football clubs in Italy. Established in 1897, Juventus has become synonymous with excellence and tenacity on the football field. The club's emblem, a charging bull, is the perfect embodiment of Juventus' approach to the game - unyielding, determined, and strong.

Chronicling Juventus' Success

With their first Serie A win in 1905, Juventus kickstarted their journey to becoming titan of Italian football. Over the decades, Juventus has exhibited consistency and fierceness in equal measure. Having scooped up over 30 Serie A titles by 2021, Juventus has asserted its dominion on local turf. Moreover, their impressive showing in the UEFA Champions League has further secured their prominent position in international football.

Knights of Udinese

Another team adding to Italy's footballing legacy is Udinese. While they might not boast the astounding track record of Juventus, Udinese’s enduring contribution to Italian soccer is undeniable. Founded in 1896, the Friuli-based club is the second oldest football team in Italy. Who would have imagined that Udinese, started as a part of the Società Udinese di Ginnastica e Scherma, would play such a critical role in the country’s football tapestry?

Udinese's Football Journey

Unlike Juventus, Udinese's journey in Serie A has been dotted with ups and downs. They honed the skill of bouncing back from adversity, carving their name into fame for producing some of the most talented players to grace the Serie A stage. In recent years, Udinese have emerged as a team synonymous with resilience, having come back from numerous challenging seasons.

Contrasting Styles, Shared Passion

While Juventus and Udinese present differing levels of success, they both share a unifying spirit. This spirit is one of passion for football, resilience, and a never-ending desire to improve. The stage is set for years of continued conflict and rivalry yet mutual respect between these two great teams. They both epitomize the heart of Italian football, each in their distinct manner, both crucial ingredients in the larger picture.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Juventus and Udinese represent two compelling pages in the book of Italian football history. They may differ in their journeys and achievements, the tales they tell are equally riveting. Both have contributed enormously to the heritage of Italian football. The narrative of Italian football would indeed be incomplete without the fascinating sagas of Juventus and Udinese.
