Buoyed by a 4-2 win over Sassuolo, Bologna will be aiming to climb to the Champions League berth when they take on Lecce in the Serie A round 24. The Rossoblu are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. Alexis Saelemaekers is pushing for a start after scoring as a substitute in the last league match, while Michel Aebischer serves a one-game ban due to the accumulation of yellow cards.

The Giallorossi, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Fiorentina and they managed to get one, but given their poor away record in the Italian top flight, we believe that there is a big value in betting on Bologna. Valentin Gendrey is banned for the match, while fellow defender Kastriot Dermaku is a major doubt and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.

Prediction: 1-0 (Bologna)

Bologna

"Red-Blue" in the previous round on their field hosted "Sassuolo". The meeting was clearly not according to Thiago Motta's plan, because after the first half Bologna were losing 1:2. However, the Rossoblu managed to turn the tide in the second half. First, Fabbian equalized on 72 minutes, and after 80 minutes Ferguson and Salemakers scored three minutes apart. 4:2 - a willful victory for Bologna.

Lecce

The Giallorossi also had a series of failures. Roberto D'Aversa's team could not win six rounds in a row, losing five times. However, in the last round at home field Lecce unexpectedly managed to stop Fiorentina. Losing 1:2 at the end of the game, the "yellow-red" not only restored parity, but also snatched the victory - 3:2. Piccoli scored in the 90th minute, and Dorgu scored in 90+2.

Lecce have scored and conceded in 11 of their last 14 matches.

In 7 out of 11 home matches of "Bologna" and in 7 out of 11 away games of "Lecce" in this championship scored no more than two goals
