This is my first FM purchase since FM10 and I’ve really been looking forward to playing FM13. Fired up the game at 5am this morning to get a quick fix before work and was really impressed! The layouts and ease of moving between screens is really wonderful! I was absolutely thrilled until I played a match. The 3d match engine was choppy and slow so I changed some settings and switched to windowed view but there were only minimal improvements. My computer is barely 2 years old and meets all of the required specifications listed for playing FM13. Super disappointed as there is no way I’m going to be able to purchase a new computer any time soon. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the match engine to run as it should? Otherwise my FM13 purchase is a disappointment, failure and waste of money :(

You should also check the DirectX version and install the latest one if you don’t have it. The drivers for your graphics card should also be up to date.

You should report that on the official forum (community.sigames.com). It is a beta version after all, so we should expect some bugs.

Never normally get up early, but having downloaded it last night, woke up at 6.15 this morning and played hours of joy! Getting back on it now!

I can’t find the activate a product on steam. I have clicked on the Games button but it is not there. Any suggestions.

When i click on the Games button and you get the drop down menu the «active a product on steam» is ot there.

It’s the second one from the top, after «view games library». Or maybe you don’t have the latest Steam version?

I bought FM13 of steam yesterday and when I click play it loads for about 5 seconds and then nothing happens?! Anyone have any ideas?

I just bought this for £27 on here. Is it a waste of money if its the beta version and not the real version or is it the same thing? Also how long should it be before I can start playing?

You didn’t pay the 27 pounds for the beta, you paid that price for the full game which will be released on November 2nd. Beta access is given as an incentive to those who pre-order before release date and you can play it right away. Your game will automatically be updated to the final version on release date. I hope it’s clear now.
