  • comment avatar JonnySniper November 1, 2010

Hey, Just came across your site when I was looking at FM blogs as me and my friend are looking at making one. I’ve never been on your site before and I haven’t actually published a blog on FM either (except for a few posts about a network game during FM08 on sortitoutsi.com . I do have previous blogging experience on Tumblr, but I know that’s a completely different thing. I’d love to join your site though. What is the best way for me to go about it. Cheers.

    • comment avatar Johnny Karp November 1, 2010

I’m happy that you want to join the team, just send me an e-mail at johnny[at]footballmanagerstory[dot]com and we’ll discuss it there. Cheers.

    • comment avatar Johnny Karp February 4, 2011

Do you want to write a story or publish it? About time wasting, you can set that in the tactics screen under team instructions (advanced). Details in the game manual here: http://footballmanager.com/manual/149

  • comment avatar Phil Coxley October 25, 2011

    Hi there,

Have to say, after playing FM since it was CM3, this is the first time I’ve actually got around to reading other people’s stories! And I very much enjoyed it!
In recent seasons I’ve taken to discussing games with friends who now live abroad via email, which has effectively led to writing a tale of epic proportions (no dragons in sight yet but I’m working on it… )and also gotten me to thinking perhaps I should share this with the world at large; not because I’m deluded enough to think my games are that interesting but more because I feel people other than my flatmate should get to share in my shouting at the monitor when their keeper get’s a 9.0 rating or we concede in injury time!
Soo… my question is this, how does one go about setting up a story?! Is there a section on here in which I can post something or is there another forum/site for novice tale-tellers such as myself to ply our trade?
    Your thoughts/opinions/advice/generic put-downs would be appreciated…

    • comment avatar Johnny Karp October 25, 2011

Hi Phil. We have a pretty active and friendly forum where you can start posting a story, here’s the link: http://footballmanagerstory.com/forum/
There is help and inspiration available there but you can let me know if you have any problems.

      • comment avatar Phil Coxley October 25, 2011

Thanks for that old boy! I’ll go forth and see what I can come up with! Keep an eye open for the Adventures Of Worcester City! (I’ll admit, the title needs a bit of work…)

  • comment avatar chervilo January 16, 2012

I have one question :). How and where I can “sign in” in on the website http://www.footballmanagerstory.com/. I saw only “login”

    • comment avatar Johnny Karp January 16, 2012

Why would you want to sign in? Anyway, the log in button is only for the writers but if you give me a good reason I can make an account for you.

  • comment avatar karl deighton January 21, 2012

    • comment avatar Johnny Karp January 21, 2012

      Hi Karl,
Unfortunately I’m not accepting any new writers on the main site at the moment but you can start writing your story in our forum.

      • comment avatar karl deighton January 21, 2012

        how can you do that??
would i have a chance in the future to write on the main site

        • comment avatar Johnny Karp January 21, 2012

Every forum writer has that chance, when I will decide to let in new writers the authors in the forum will be the ones I’ll be choosing from. You can register an account and then post there, it’s quite simple: http://www.footballmanagerstory.com/forum/

Hey guys what happend to the Network thing that was like facebook we had it on here around a year ago was fantastic but now it’s gone!

    • comment avatar Johnny Karp January 5, 2013

That’s been closed almost two years ago.

      • comment avatar WHATHAPPEND January 5, 2013

Yeah why? I thought it was fantastic I really enjoyed using it how comes? When I used it, it was quite popular

        • comment avatar Johnny Karp January 5, 2013

It wasn’t that popular, and the fact that you come asking about it 2 years after it has closed proves that :) Now seriously, we decided to focus on developing the forum as the main place for interaction among FM fans. http://www.footballmanagerstory.com/forum
