Hello folks, the Notts County journey towards the Premier League continues with a new episode, probably the most important so far. We were back on track after a series of good results in February, we just had to keep winning in March to get closer to our promotion dream. We had some tough games to play though, I wasn’t expecting an easy run.
Hello my friends, here’s the first post of the new year, I hope it will be a great year for everyone. It’s a new year in my game too, my Notts County were top of the table at the end of 2011 in Coca-Cola Championship after a very good first half of the season. The financial aspect of the club was not looking too good though, I had no transfer money and I was already over the wage budget. That’s why I decided to sell two of my players, they didn’t have much of an impact in the first half of the season.
Hello my dear friends, welcome back to my Football Manager 2010 story. Things were looking good for my Notts County at the end of November, despite having the first defeat of the season we were still top of the table. If you remember I complained about the pitch at Meadow Lane in the previous post, Kevin described it pretty well: “a mud bath”. I contacted the board and requested them to relay the pitch, the situation was outrageous.
Welcome back my friends, the Notts County Football Manager 2010 story continues with a brand new episode! We were down in 2nd place at the end of October, out of the Carling Cup after a quick defeat at Old Trafford but our fans were as happy as they could be. The reason was the Nottingham Derby victory, we beat Nottingham Forest at The City Ground and that was enough to see our fans singing in the streets for days.
Here we go my friends, time for a new update in my Football Manager 2010 story! Things were going well for my Notts County, we were top of the table at the end of September and we were qualified for the 4th round of the Carling Cup. October was full of big games to play, first the Nottingham Derby and then the impossible battle at Old Trafford with Manchester United in the Carling Cup.
Hello my friends, welcome back to my Football Manager 2010 story. Our first month in the Championship was very good, we were still unbeaten after 5 games and it seemed like we were on course for a top spot at the end of the season. I knew that it was just the beginning of a long winding road so we had to work hard and earn the points on the pitch.
