Blyth Spartans Story – The Last Episode

So, the moment has finally arrived my friends, the last chapter in the glorious Blyth Spartans Football Manager 2009 story… I had a lot of fun along the way and lots of great results, now it’s time for one last assault to win the Champions League and the FA Cup again.
The first challenge was the second leg of the Champions League semi final, away at Barcelona. We had a good advantage to defend, we won the first leg 5-2 with a great performance at Croft Park. Now we had to …

Blyth Spartans March and April 2017

Hello my friends, welcome back to the Blyth Spartans Football Manager 2009 story. Last month we brought home another trophy, the Carling Cup, which we won for the second time in a row. Hello my friends and welcome to the most important month of the season, December 2016, the month that could give the Blyth Spartans the only trophy that is missing from the vault, the Club World Cup.
But until then we had another few league games to win… The first challenge was a tricky away game at 3rd placed Crystal Palace, a solid team. We played very well in the first half and young striker Pablo gave us the lead with a close range header. Crystal Palace created a bit of pressure …

Blyth Spartans November 2016

Hello my friends! My last Football Manager 2009 season started very well, only one draw and straight wins for my Spartans at the end of October. Now we had to consolidate our position in the Premier League and obtain the ticket for the first knockout round in the Champions League.
A win at home against Galatasaray was everything that we needed in order to get through to the next round in the UEFA Champions League. Galatasaray defended well throughout the game but we managed to get two goals past them and …
