Jon’s — Ultimate National Challenge

Hello everyone, I’ve been writing for around 3 months now, as you no you start in the forums and work yourself up to the main site which I’ve managed to do so! But here is a little bio about myself; My name is Jon Crosby and I am 17 years of age and will be turning 18 on December 13th which I can’t wait for which has it’s obvious reasons. I am in Sixth form at the moment at a school called Carshalton Boys Sports Academy which is a terrific school and I have loved every minute of it! A few years back I managed to play in the academy of Fulham Football Club at the Under 11’s section, I only lasted a year and a half there and I got released the next year due to breaking my leg while playing in a match against Charlton Academy. After that I suppose I gave up playing football as I lost my touch I had but last year at 16 I took up and started to manage a youth team in my local area which is a brilliant experiance and I would recommend it to anyone who has a keen interest in coaching! The great game of Football Manager I’ve been playing since the 2005 series, but I have played Championship Manager 03/04 which today I still think is a great game also before that I even played LMA Manager 2004 and to my knowledge those two games are the earliest game I played of the Football management series.

So my story that I shall be writing about is a duplicate of Darren’s «Ultimate European Challenge» but I shall be doing it with the National sides, so far in my story I am currently managing England in the season 13/14 season after just finishing the World Cup Qualifiers (Europe) Group 3, I shall get back to that part later on!

So what do I have to win to complete the Ultimate challenge well here is what it consits off;

The Copa America

The Oceania Nations Cup

The Caribbean Championships*

The Gold Cup

The World Cup

The Confederations Cup

The Olympics*

The African Nations

The Asian Cup

The European Championships

The Four Associations Tournament

The two with the *’s are the ones that are a possibility of actually doing.

Right as you will know that I have already started this in the forums and I’m 3 seasons in and I’ve already managed to win some silverware, two cups in fact. I Will not tell you which ones I’ll let you read the story for yourself. So before you carry on reading on I’d advise you to read the story from the beginning and here is the link for the story;

https://footballmanagerstory.com/forum/index.php?topic=296.0,

I’ve created a new topic on the forums and it’s just the story and no comments!

Here are the results from the start 2010 to today’s date 2013;

Right I no that was one hell of a read and was it worth it? It sure was because it can only get brighter for England even if it is virtual!

So this is where I will leave you today and my next update will be up tomorrow after 3pm English time, It will only be a small update with only two matches being played as that will make it the end of 2013, I’ll be up against Uruaguy and Andorra!
