This FM 2015 player profile of Lucas Candido shows a reliable young defensive midfielder, a good option if you’re looking for a ball-winner. The initial asking price is 7.5 million but I think you could get him for less after a bit of time.

In my test save he moved to Vasco before making the big step to Europe at FC Porto. He did a decent job there and his performances earned him three caps for the Brazilian national team.

The future profile shows a defensive midfielder that can do the dirty work in the middle of the park, strong, agile and reasonably quick. He also developed good marking, tackling and heading but he won’t ever become a regista or a playmaker.
