This FM 2015 player profile of Jamaal Lascelles shows a solid young English central defender, who can develop into a reliable centre back and team captain. Newcastle don’t want to sell him at the start of the game and making an offer right away doesn’t make sense because of the asking price and also because he won’t be able to join your club until his loan deal at Nottingham Forest runs out.
In my test save he managed to become a first team regular at Newcastle before being sold to Manchester City, where he enjoyed one good season out of three. However, he did become a regular in the England national team, making 22 appearances and scoring two goals.
The future profile shows a central defender that is both strong and quick, reasonable on the mental side and also a natural born leader. His heading and tackling could be improved though.
