This FM 2014 player profile of Stefano Denswil shows a solid young central defender, with good skills and nice speed for a centre back. Unfortunately Ajax are not willing to part company with him for less than 10 million at the start of the game and that is a steep price even though the lad has good potential. However, I think you might be able to get him for a lower fee later on.
He didn’t have the happiest of careers in my test save, Ajax didn’t play him enough and then sold him for pennies to Montpellier. He played well in France though and was bought by Anderlecht after a couple of seasons, where he became a first team regular. His contract ran out, he probably didn’t want to extend it so he ended up on the free transfer market in the summer of 2020. However, he developed into a reliable central defender, good speed, strength and jumping, good mental attributes and solid technical skills as well.
I think he can become a worthy player in your squad if you need a centre back with good speed and also with the ability to provide cover as a left back.
