This FM 2014 player profile of Ezequiel Rescaldani shows a target man with more than just height, he can do a number of jobs alongside his primary duty. Screenshots come curtosy of Ollie who bought the target man with Newcastle and saw him score 50 goals from 2016 to 2018. What really impresses me besides the potential jumping, heading and strength ability is his well rounded attributes across the board. Rescaldani is by no means slow, fairly fast for such a big unit and he can handle the ball at feet too.
This kid may not be a answer to your striking woes, but he’d make an excellent partner in the little and large duet. Also well worth the punt for just £1 million.

A bargain really, and pretty sure you can get him for free most of the time at the end of the first season.
He’s gone to Monaco in my game and looks quality.
Also bought him in my other save so hoping I can develop him well. Still in first season and have just loaned him out to Wolves in Jan transfer window.

I got him for my Liverpool side in 1st season for aprox, $500K, scored in his debut.But, he has the tendency to get caught offside too often, so trained him to avoid offside trap, also trained him heavily to increase his ‘off the ball’.Once done, he’ll be a nice back-up striker overall.Also,one could sell him to fetch good profit.Currently he’s on loan spell at toons (just at the start of my 3rd season, scored already twice for them in as many games).

Thanks for the input. What attracted me was the target man role mixed with some good general ability which can be hard to find as you say he’s certainly capable of doing a utility job at least.

You do not score score 20+ goals in your first season at Barca unless your’e a wonderkid. Chelski came sniffing around with a 24 million bid for him the next season. Told them to buzz off and come back with 30 millon instead. Still waiting for those rich b**tards to come back when Rescaldani scores another 20-30 this season. He seemed to be struglling with only 8 goals in the first half of the next season but then he banged in 4 against Levante in one game alone.
