Blyth Spartans March 2016

Here we go again, the Blyth Spartans were chasing everlasting glory after bringing home another trophy in February, the Carling Cup! We were still undefeated in the Premier League and I definitely hoped to continue the good run and win the title as soon as possible. The first game of the month was a tricky one, at home with 6th placed Everton. We won the last game against them 2-1 away from home in October [Read more]

Blyth Spartans February 2016

My Blyth Spartans were dominating the Premier League, we were still unbeaten at the end of January, a great run, and it seemed that no other team could keep up with that pace. I wanted the good run to continue and to secure the title as soon as possible in order to focus on the other competitions. The first game of February was away at 16th placed Wolves, a team that we humiliated in September [Read more]

Blyth Spartans January 2016

After a thrilling first half of the season my Blyth Spartans were preparing to confirm the good form in 2016… We were unbeaten in the Premier League at the end of 2015, with only two draws! We were also still involved in all the cup competitions: Carling Cup, Champions League and the FA Cup. Blyth Spartans December 2015

Still unbeaten in the Premier League at the end of November, who would have imagined such a performance from a small club like my Blyth Spartans… We also had good displays in the Carling Cup, we were through to the quarter final but we beat only Championship sides in the first two rounds. In the quarter final we had a much more difficult opponent, the surprising 2nd placed team in the Premier League, Sunderland. I [Read more]

Blyth Spartans November 2015

I couldn’t have wished for a better start this season, we had 10 straight Premier League wins at the end of October, my Blyth Spartans were looking unbeatable. We also had three straight wins in the Champions League group but things were getting tough, we had to play both Real Madrid and AC Milan away from home. The first test was at Santiago Bernabeu, I was hoping to get a draw. We didn’t play well [Read more]

Blyth Spartans - September and October 2015

Here we go again, sorry for the interruption, my internet service provider had some difficulties lately. Anyway, back to my Blyth Spartans, the new kids on the block around Europe, the team that everybody keeps an eye on since the unexpected triumph in the Premier League. We had a great start in the new season but I knew that it would all be in vain if we couldn’t keep up the pace. The first test [Read more]

The Blyth Spartans Go For More Trophies

So, my eighth season at the helm of the Blyth Spartans begins… After tying to make my team better in pre season I was quite confident that we could achieve something nice this season too. And there was silverware on the table right from the start, the Community Shield! We had to face Tottenham, the team that won the FA Cup last season. It was an even game but ultimately two of my new signings [Read more]
