Huge Season After Season Roundup Pt-1!

Hi everyone!

As many of you may know my story is alot further on than what I am posting here. Originally I didnt think it would be much of a problem but I am aware that many have either already read what I am posting, or know what is about to happen.

This makes it annoying as like I said, many know the plot of my story already.  So Johnny and I came to a conclusion that I will post a round up of every season up to the one I am in now.  Then every new post I make will be availble here first to read!

After a few days I will post it elsewhere (Sortitoutsi and Los Wonderkids) so not to spoil it too much. I feel that this is the best conclusion for the majority of readers.

Hope everyone understands.

Ana. xx

Season 2011/12

The current season so will do a brief review!

Began ok but then our form began to dip. After 18 games we were 16th only 4 points clear of the relegation zone and injury took its toll on my side.

After 30 games results didnt improve and we were 18th and 5 points behind 17h place. We were out of form and confidence was at an all time low.  We needed a miracle to survive.

At the 38 game mark we made a fast return, after relegation set in. We finished 19th and we deserved to go down.

Star man :  Kramaric who scored 14 times in 30 games

Season 2012/13

So we were back in liga adelante but with a far better squad than what we left with and my aim was easy, to win the league! As I said our squad was the best and promotion was the minimum I expected, but if we didnt leave as champions that was a failure in my eyes!

I changed formations to an even more attacking set up, to give us the best chance of winning almost every game. But our defensive midfield general Richard broke his leg in pre season to give us a really bad start!

15 wins out of our first 17 games quickly raised us to the top of the league, 7 clear of second placed Elche. 2 draws gave us an unbeaten start. Neemelo and Kramaric hit 26 goals between them in 30 games to give us a lethal strike force.

32 games in and with only one defeat all season in the league we were now 12 points clear and promotion secured. We would be returning back to la liga but I wanted to be champions, which we easily achieved with a whoping 105 points thats still a record on my game today!

My transfer budget was a healthy 14.5 million and a new 4 year contract was signed. Another crack at la liga awaited!

Star man : Andrej Kramaric with 30 goals in 40 games

Season 2013/14

My 5th season in charge I made some big signings in Sergio Tejera, Bruno Fornaroli, Damien Plessis, Pablo Ledesma and Leo who cost £8 million and smashed my transfer record. I was determined to to not repeat the past mistakes in our relegation season.

We made a fantastic start and were 3rd after 12 games, gaining as many points as the whole of our first try in la liga. By the 32 game mark we were 5th and were chasing a possible europa league place. We had 61 points from 32 games and were 11 clear of 6th place.

Season finished and 5th is what we got, so we would be playing in the final knock-out round to earn a place in the europa league!

Star man : Leo who averaged 7.24 in 41 games

2014/15

The new seaon began with a huge job offer to manage Bayern Munich, but I declined to stay at Real union. We easily qualified for the group stage and finished top beating Tottenham along the way. Our league formed suffered a little as we were 7th after 10 games but was pretty pleased with the start.

At January I sold Galvan for a record £16 million pound fee and signed Flavio (A brazilian regen), Michel and Luc Castaignos. With 13 games left to play we were 6th on 43 points chasing further european football next season.

After losing to Shaktar in the first round of the knock out stage my team finished on high claiming 6th place in the league and ensuring more europa league football. An acadamy player called Mikel Pena went on to win  the young Spanish player of the year award.

The best news was that a brand new stadium was going to be built! A 23,335 all seater costing nearly £43 million pounds. It would be named after a legend at the club Javier Irureta and take two years to build!

Star men : Pablo Ledesma (with 15 goals from midfield) and Mikel Pena (Who scored 24 in 33 games.)

2015/16

Season began with me signing Sergio Romero a goalkeeper and Sergio Mota a Brazilian attacking midfield player. Once again we qualified to the group stage of the europa league.

15 games in and we managed to qualify from our group that had both Aston Villa and Ac Milan in it! We finished second to qualify for the knockout stage again. After 15 games we were 5th in the league and doing well but an injury to Leo saw him ruled out for up to 7 months!!

At the 29 game mark we were again well placed. Still 5th in the league, but continued our european journey by beating Zenit 8-1 in two legs! We met Stuttgart who also were beaten after an incredible two legs that finished 9-5! We went on to meet Juventus in the quarter final stage!

The season finished with another 5th place and again european football. We managed to beat Juventus! After beating them in Italy 1-0 and holding them at home 1-1 and Ac Milan were again our opponents! They proved to good but only just beat us over two legs by an away goal 1-1 at home and 0-0 away!

Star man : Luc Castaignos who scored 25 times in 38 games from midfield

@ Johnny — Hope so! Yeah I stayed as I still feel I can take the club forward. It was a brilliant offer but my little team still needs me! :)

@ Warren — Thanks! I have enjoyed my time so far, and am trying to push the club to the next step which is champions league football. I believe I can do it!

@ Lye — It was great news to all that a new stadium was planned, cant wait to finally play their!!!

@ Laxeyman — Thank you! We play well in Europe and over two legs I feel we can beat anyone. We also seem to enjoy the games which helps I think.

@ Micheal — Hi, no not yet! I have another 4 seasons to write up but I plan on doing a post after that about the club’s history, favourite players, my manager profile and stats etc. This will help to fill in some of the blanks you may miss out on.

I also should have the final 4 seasons posted tonight (after the Barca game of course ;))So keep checking back!!

Alright Ana! And just as i said before, Galvan would prove to be good business for you bringing in a whooping 16M £.

Also, great job in finishing 5th in your return to the «Primera Division»!

    Hey Anna,

Nice story! I love your determination after going down, sticking with your game, and not start over. I respect you for that! I’d like to know your team better, so i would love to read your story in monthly fasion, like Johnnies story of Notts County, but that’s just my opinion of course. Keep up the good work! The European silverware will be yours next season!!

@ Majk — Thanks! It was a great finish for my team. Yeah the main reason I sold him was because of his price, as it really helped to stabalise the club’s finances.

@ Kevin — Yeah, probably should have done it sooner but we live and learn! Yeah probably the best way of doing it! Taped it! I dont want to spoil it but Bojan’s goals SHOULD have stood!! :)

@ Andries — Yeah I dont cheat, so if my team are relegated I stay and fight! Always my way! My updates will be alot more detailed once I have caught up, plus I will post my current squad and Union hero’s after I have finished so you wont miss anything!

@ Martin — Probably not monthly as I dont really have the time, but they will definatly be more detailed that this. Just the easiest and fastest way to catch up!
