I like your level of detail. Too many stories zoom through the seasons in one post. I really like how you lay out your thoughts as you try to mold your team in the important run-up.

Thanks PeeDub, saltwater and NUFCdan for the compliments! Glad you like the level of detail - I sometimes wonder if it's too much :)

I suspect I'll only really find out if I've made great signings when I start playing the League games!

Hope you all keep reading...

That was some absolutely unbelievable strikes by Kaifa! I can't get my long shot man (16 attribute) to do anything close to that! The French opposition definetly wil be more of a test.

Must admit that even as a League One team, Pompey should be beating Gosport and Fareham quite easily!

There's still more pre-season to look at before the new season starts - keep watching :)

They were amazing - especially as his Long Shots are 9 and Finishing only 7! One of those days everything goes right I suppose :)

Keep watching for the next post - Stade Rennais will provide a better indication of how well my players may fare in League One...

You put up a really good performance against Stade and yep the 0-1 deficit is slightly surprising based on the gulf between the two clubs. Swindon will be no easy feat away from home, and nice change in terms of music to your youtube video ;)

Thanks although it is slightly worrying how porous my defence is at the moment - I suppose 4-3 wins will please the fans more than 1-0 but will my heart take the strain? :)
