My team is in 6th place in EPL and I wasn't even able to have a contract talk with the guy as he wasn't interested. Rejected my loan deal as well... but he picked a lower league team that isn't even in a play-off position at the moment. I would have understood this, maybe, if it were his home team... but Muniesa has no ties with them!

Has anyone witnessed such ridiculous reasoning as of late? Please share to make me feel better

He didn't even give me a chance to offer him a contract! Said he wasn't interested but he went into discussion with such a little club..! Well, good for them, they get a great defender who can help them advance to La Liga but come on... Wolves (6th in EPL) vs Sabadell (8th in Liga Adelante) ? At least give me an opportunity to present my offer

He would actually get 20+ games/season as I am in desperate need of a 4th defender. Have 2 good youngsters but they are nowhere near ready to compete in even the easiest of EPL matches. Rugani will be in a few months after he settles.. but before that I pray for no injuries...

Kidding of course but I feel your anguish Heresy, I lost out on a very good Belorussian regenerated player who wouldnt even talk to me then he signed for the newly promoted team who were in a tragic state and were relegated, his wages he accepted I could have offered double and we were pushing for promotion whilst the team he signed for were nailed on for relegation.

I would have offered him a key role also had he talked to me but sometimes this game can make no sense!

I had a weird situation last night, but not to do with transfers.

I noticed I had two messages in my inbox first one from my 4th choice keeper Riedel (German regen) and the second from my number one, Tim Krul.

Riedel said he was unhappy at the awful way I had treated Tim Krul thing was I hadn't even spoken to Tim Krul?? When I did he said he felt he had done all he could at Newcastle and was considering looking for a move, I told him that we can still achieve so much and wanted him to be part of it, to which he accepted and was happy.

I then had to speak to Riedel, who was still angry at the way I had treated Krul, even though I didn't do anything

I decided to tell him to show some respect as will not tolerate players who are causing problems, he quickly said sorry and left, but I may sell him now as he has annoyed me. Either that or he can go back on loan to my feeder club Reading, lil git

I think Karl got it right, he probably didn't want to leave Spain (strange, as back when I was managing Malaga, in my 4th season he agreed to sign for Schalke or some other German team...). At least that's the only explanation that has a hint of logic to it

I think SI needs to change that a little.. If you can give reason for why you agree to transfer someone, they can also state the reason why they want/don't want to sign for you.

MVB, I feel for you. 2 of my players think that 4th possition is a disaster and want to leave (2nd season managing Wolves, 1st season we finished 7th only just missing out on Europa League).... By the way, I did promise my board continental qual spot so why they have a problem with it is beyond me. And they both are only medicore so I could just transfer list them. Problem is, one of them is Hennessey and I can't find a suitable replacement for him yet

End of season 2. Guilherme fails a work permit and Branescu doesn't wanna join I'll probably go for Areola again, though he's lost 2 years already by not playing a single game.... And if Hennessay decides to leave (still uncertain about that), I need a keeper who's ready for first team football at a group stage CL level... The player I'm currently keeping an eye on is Tim Krul but for now, both the fee and his wage demands are a little excessive to what he has to offer.
