Its the one that we have all been waiting for.. A software change wheyy :)

Now with I.P Boards, we will have more flexibility on what we would like the forum to look like and what features it has to offer. Will be a couple of months before we have it the way we want it, but it should be a vast improvement on what we have already.

Looking forward to it :)

Cheers,
The FMS Team

OK, so the software is here and already it is looking loads better than what we had previously!

Obviously this is a work in progress and over the next week me and Johnny are hopefully going to be able to complete the framework of the site, and sort out all the issues from the transfer.

Please be patient, we will do our best with the time we have.

Just noticed on my profile and on my avatar, below where it says how many posts i've made it has:

"0 warning points"

Can we now get warning points for inappropriate posts etc? :P

Latest updates:

1. The posts not showing some images problem has been solved, it was because of a setting that was limiting the number of images for each post. If some of your older posts are not showing the images, just hit "edit" and then save the post without making any modifications.

2. Some of the avatars are not showing, so please take a minute and upload them again in your profile.

3. I hope you have noticed that there's a "like" button at the bottom of each post. Feel free to use it :)

4. Please report any other issues here.

Thanks.

Sorry mate the images are not showing up on my posts. It's only showing the first image on each post and for the others there are just links (you only get to see the pictures after you click those links). I've hit 'edit' and saved the post with/without modifications, doesn't seem to work. I just don't think I'll have the time/patience to edit every image link on my posts in order to make the images work, there are just too many...

I guess that might also depend on the image hosting service you are using. I have tried this on a few posts from other users and it worked.

Test, using Photobucket:

Well it's a bit weird...if it were because of the image hosting service then there should have been a problem with all the pictures, but the first ones in each post are properly displayed, while the others aren't. Anyway...it kinda messed up my stories :( I've noticed the same problem on other topics as well, don't know if they're using the same hosting service or not...

It is a bit weird, I agree, and we're still trying to figure out a way to get all your pictures back up.

However, I am quite sure that you won't have any problems with inserting the images in the new posts.

I just wanted to send you a PM, but couldn't do it:

"The following errors were found

The member Johnny Karp cannot receive any new messages
This personal message has not been sent"

Thought I should let you know about it.

That was my fault, my inbox was full. Thanks a lot for letting me know.

I've managed to find the reason behind my problem with the images not showing up, it seems that the old software was using the URL protocol in a different manner that's why instead of showing the pictures here on forum, now it's showing the external links for them. I've started to edit each of my posts in order to make the images work as I wanted, patience is low and the work is time consuming but will do it one step at the time :)
