Hi guys.

(sorry if my english is poor, it's not my language)   :)

I wanted to share my 4-2-3-1 tactic that i think is right up there with the best tactics out there. I must say that i am not a tactician but one who has always downloaded tactics from others, in recent years mostly from FMS Darren Smith. But since Football manager 2014 i have tried and tried and tried to create my own and have probably over 40 tactics in my name, few that were pretty successful, but only for a short time and many many bad ones.

The reason i wanted to share my tactic is this:

This is my 3rd season with Chelsea. I scored 114 goals and only conceded 27. For me that is amazing. So after i finished that season i thought i needed to test it so i tested it with 2 teams, first Real Madrid and then Southampton. One very good team and the other a decent team with big potential.

So i'm gonna post screenshot from both test saves but i played full season with each team. I'm gonna show you every screenshot you possible would want to see. So starting with my Real save.

First transfers.

I did not pay 77m but managed to do this with monthly payments.

Next league results.

3tis.jpg

Some bad results against Almeria and Elche.

here is the rest.

qk6w.jpg

Lost again to Elche!! And to Athletico.

So this is how the league ended.

jpo8.jpg

Again, amazing! 123 goals to beat Real's record of 121. Barcelona lost their last game of the season to Athletico so it was really close.

Next Champions League.

ho9d.jpg

Beat Schalke in final.

Spanish cup

Yeahh!

Next some stats:

Finally, goals from corners and goals conceded from corners.

Goals from corners.

Goals conceded from corners.

So this was pretty easy, as expected. Still some luck in winning the league in the end but.

So here is same screenshots from my southampton save. Starting with transfers.

This was a bit more difficult. Started with 0 in transfer budget. But when i asked for more, the board gave me 14(or 15) don't remember.

Simone Pep was really good apart from being injured a lot. Valencia was also good for me. Fischer is young and did ok, scoring some goals. Balanta was good as expected but got homesick and was homesick in the end so i let him go before the last 4 games (thinking about playing this save more, wanted to keep him happy)

League results.

xwh9.jpg

It was pretty difficult as you can see.

More results..

Some difficult games mixed with some fantastic results. Last game of the season vs Arsenal proofed to be a pretty important win.

So i managed top 4 in my first season with Southampton. Haven't been this excited for a long time.

Carling Cup results

My priority was the league but i managed to get to the semis.

FA Cup

Pretty shocking really! but again my priority was the league.

Player stats:

Goals from corners.

Goals conceded from corners

Finally the tactic itself.

Training.

Pre-season

When the season starts:

Final thougt.

I do not make any tactical changes during these tests. My preferred assistant manager is Mauro Tassotti. In my Southampton save i promoted Martin Hunter. I let them do the OI every time.

I'm not sure what to tell you more. Just give this a try and please comment if you like it. Can't promise you a success but i know this tactic works really really well.

Forgot one thing. In match prep (before games) i used Attacking movement most of the time.

I actually didn't qualify for champions league with Southampton because Man City won the bloody thing. I got so excited that i just didn't see it!!! Now i have an idea how Spurs fans felt few years ago!
