Hi I'm Alex and I'm new to the forum, I've been reading it for about a year, and I thought it was time to add a story of my own!

My goal is to win the 6 main leagues in Europe (England, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal), and I'm hoping to add some international success.

I may not get much response but I'd like you guys to chose my starting team for me as I can never decided, here are the choices:

Bishop's Stortford - Blue Square North
The town I live in and the fact that I live on the same street as one of the players and I play in the youth set-up sort of intrigues me here, would be interesting to take my hometown club to the top.

Deportivo La Coruna - Liga Adelante
8 years ago this side were Champions League semi-finalists, now they're battling in the Spanish 2nd division (well they're top of the league, but still), would love to recreate former success and fully establish a club that sort of rose up and faded without ever reaching the very top.

Torino - Serie B
Constantly overshadowed by their city rivals, Torino have always been a team floating between Serie A & B, and I just quite like the idea of managing in Italy, which I have never done.

Newcastle - Premier League
Finally, a team everyone seems to manage. Reasons behind this are with the new patch I'm interested in how much I could get out of Newcastle, and their lethal Senegalese strikeforce!

I'd love to see you do something with Deportivo to start off with! I've seen the Newcastle thing done so many times, but Deportivo or Torino would be interesting.

Good luck with your story. :3

Hi Alex, welcome to the forum! :)
I would take either Deportivo or Torino, whichever suits you best between these two.
Good luck!

OK I'm very impatient so I've decided due to them having a majority already, I'm starting with Deportivo!

Before I start, I was just wondering if any of you guys could help me: when I try and take a screenshot of something in my game, when I paste the picture it gives me a screenshot of a different window open on my computer, as if the FM window is invisible?

You have to click Alt+F6.. and it saves them in my documents/sports interactive/FM2012/screenshots if I'm not mistaken.

It's not working.

Am I meant to create a screenshots folder myself?

Why don't you use an utility program for this, like Fast Stone Capture? It's free and easy to use...

Is FM on full screen? It should be on Windowed mode if you are using PicPick.

Problem solved! here's my pre-season update:

Firstly, a look at the club!

http://img585.images...10/clubinfo.png

As you can see, there is a lot of debt, which adds to my challenge, but I guess you can expect that from a relegated club. Some of the club legends you may recognise, such as Bebeto and Roy Makaay, it seems my strikers have a lot to live up to!

A summary of our transfers.

http://img585.images...ansfers1112.png

And our Starting Line-Up.

http://img36.imagesh.../1889/teamp.png

Decided to choose Xisco over Riki due to him being more of a poacher, and I'm hoping Guardado, Valero and Salomao will rack up tons of assists.

Lets see how the friendlies went!

http://img535.images...dlies201112.png

Great wins over Olympiakos and Real Sociedad, very frustrated with the draw, but we just weren't prolific enough.

I'll be back at about mid-season in a couple of days!

I hope that huge debt doesn't dent your chances of success!  :( Good luck!

Hi Guys,

just thought I'd say the Friday 13th has had an effect on me today, and the save has become corrupt :(

I was just about to finish the first season, but it seems my story is over before it even started.
