<a class='bbc_url' href='insert the hyperlink of the thread into here'><img src='insert the image hyperlink into here' alt='Posted Image' class='bbc_img' /></a>

For example, mine is this:

<a class='bbc_url' href='http://footballmanag...php?topic=824.0'><img src='http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z313/mcfc999/Fortuna_Sittard_Sig.png' alt='Posted Image' class='bbc_img' /></a>

There you go :)

I do it a bit differantly. What I do is I first get the link to my story, which comes up automatically as a hyperlink. Then I'll get the direct link to the picture and literally put the picture in the middle of the link. Then I'll remove the web address, but the picture will still carry the hyperlink itself. Simple!

Hope this helps :)

Ha! I tried to explain in my own guide but as you see is very tricky!

I don't have the good English to make it sound right if you need I can try to explain but it will be worse than the replies already! :)

Ha! Really ok I can try......

Is not easy so I just steal Jake's explanation and try to help explain, I do not know Hyperlink is or anything so is the simple version!

I take my picture of my logo (Eyupspor) thing then I upload like normal to photobucket then :

<a class='bbc_url' href=' 1.insert the hyperlink of the thread into here'><img src=' 2.insert the image hyperlink into here' alt='Posted Image' class='bbc_img' /></a>

I think you can just copy this into the bit that says [SIGNATURE] in your settings, then just delete the red bits that Jake has highlighted and replace with your own.

For example I do Purple one and two to show in one you copy the link to your first post in your story like here :-

Guidepic1_zpsadc4e68b.jpg

This is my first post in my own story so I click this button and is link number on as a big bar thing will come up just copy that and then paste to where I put number 1.

Then for number 2 is the link for your picture you want, like Jake and mine is made by ourselves then I upload to Photobucket and copy the [DIRECT] link and paste into the number two.

It should work and when you click it should take you to the first post in your own story is best I can do to explain so hopefully it can make sense! :)

Here's how I do it in stages then:

1. Get the website address, so say for instance it's the main site I'd do this:

http://www.footballmanagerstory.com/

It will immediately come up as a link.

2. Then I will get the picture I want so for you it'll be the picture you want to use and literally put it in the middle of the link:

3.Then from that I'll remove the excess website address from the outside so I am left with just the picture:

And that's it done. Do all that in your signature part of your account and it'll come up as a signature.

You can also use the link option from the editing bar when you've highlighted the image, not sure if I did it right though.

Oh right it's nothing confusing its just say you have a picture and put it on the web address it would still have the web address around the side of the picture.

So that you don't have the web address on the signature you can literally just backspace all of the website address off so you're left with.

And then the picture will still carry the link to the website address, which I'm guessing will be your story.  :)

I have worked it out and I think I can explain a little better, maybe! ;)

I have been experimenting and I have found that you can use this to do it,

!URL=The Link To Your Post Here!!IMG!Your Picture Link Goes Here!/IMG!!/URL!

I did on my own and it worked, I remember someone emailed how to do it years ago to me and I save it I guess is just lucky I found! It does work like I said I just tested but if you need more help I can try again. :)

Edit - Ok is nightmare to explain! I had to replace all these [ and ] with !. As it wont let me post so take what I post and replace all ! with [ and ] so it will let you post correctly.

! = [

! = ]

Is probably easier way to explain but my English is not strong enough, if it dont work I will try more for you. :)

Done!

Although, I would like you to make it more into a signature rather than a photo.. something shorter height wise so it doesn't take up a page of itself ;)

Still too big mate, you're going to have to make it ~200pixels in height or the software won't take it :P
