Hi everyone, todays post will start season 8 as we look to defend our Premier League Crown. A lot of action happened in the summer regarding transfers, Adebayor and Ronaldo (two of my best players last season) were sold. However they were replaced with good players also, Kevin Lorenz and Dudu Cearense. Also I forgot to mention that Adebayor is an icon for the club! :D
Premier League Results
An excellent start by my players as we have only dropped two points. Nothing got more satisfying to me in the first game than seeing both my new strikers scoring. We then played Liverpool, and we could have dropped points if it wasn’t a late winner by Alex in the 92nd(!) minute! Best result in the league so far… As you can see the fixture list is pretty easy and if we dropped any more points, then it would have been very dissapointing.
It’s been a terrible campaign so far regarding injuries. Araujo, Pedro, Quimbamba have all suffered from 4/5 week injuries. Notice Araujo not scoring much? Kusters and Hector Alvarez have also been injured for 3 weeks. However it didn’t stop us from winning our matches :D
With the excellent start, you could almost imagine what the table would look like, Bury run away leaders…
But it’s completely different! Yes we are top but Man City have 2 games in hand on us. We also have a game in hand on Arsenal. Man City play us next at Gigg Lane, what an important match that is! The fact that City have only conceded 1 goal in 7 games show that they are a title winning team. The first time in my save they are actually doing this good. Maybe because they signed Pastore for 46m in the summer?
Champions League:
Barcelona beat us as expected. Then we drew to Udinese when we really should have won. I didn’t expect to beat Shakhtar as easily we did, so I’m sure we will qualify for the knockouts. Udinese and Shakhtar aren’t great.
The last competition to report is the League cup where we have reached the quarter finals. Hopefully we can go onto win the competition that we won two seasons ago. :D

Well done Sayam, great start to the season and it is showing your superiority. Hopefully you can retain that title, although Man City have had a brilliant start to the season. A result at Gigg Lane will be pivotal!
Good luck in the Champions League aswell, unlucky against Udinese but you have enough quality to make sure you qualify!

Fantastic start Sayam, and so unlucky to have both Arsenal and City on your back. I am yet to face such an annoying challenge with Newcastle, only kidding it makes the game more interesting. :)
Your CL form isn’t as good but not bad either. A draw against Barcelona and win against Shakhtar should see you through. Hope that’s the case anyway and also hope to see less injuries :( Good luck mate

That is a very good start to the campaign, but the league looks totally different than what I expected! I cannot wait for the next update, as I really want to see what happened against City and whether you maintain first position.

Nice start to the season…it’s always nice to new striker getting straight into the swing of things. You look in good shape to qualify from your Champions Cup Group. Keep going, we want to see more silverware :)
