Hello Friends,

Well the poll is now closed and many thanks to all of you who took the time to vote for my next Football Manager Story. I was totally astonished by the number of votes cast which in the end was a massive 241 and way more than I had anticipated. So, without further ado my new team is Plymouth Argyle of League 2 status.

The voting was pretty much a two-horse from the outset between Plymouth and Weston S Mare with my preferred candidate Ipswich coming in third. Still, I’m delighted with the choice and very much looking forward to this new challenge.

Final Results:

I did load up a Plymouth FM2011 game just to give me an idea of what I could be facing in three weeks time and if that is any indication to go by then I really do have my work cut out especially from a financial standpoint.

Well, back to my Southampton save and thanks for taking the time to read this special update.

    • Hi paine!!
Looking forward to the challenge though I think my FM abilities are not quite as good as yours so don’t expect an ECC trophy from me :)

  10. Good luck. Plymouth are in severe financial difficulties so managing them would be a real challenge. It’s unfortunate that you can’t dip into your own salary to help the club (a la Peter Reid) ;) . Looking forward to it :) :):):)

    • Thanks Nicholas!!
Based on all the comments it looks like I’m in for a very tough time so I’d better start thinking about a strategy now I guess?
