There’s not much too say about it, over 50,000 players and staff pictures from all over the world, a must have for any Football Manager fan. Here is how the pictures look in my game:

The file is huge, almost 3 GB, so there are two download solutions available:

- download torrent file here (provided thanks to FMScout.com)

- download split file – follow this link and download all 27 pieces

Go to the next page for instructions on how to install the facepack in your game.

    Now im absolutely going mad! now the directory is : C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\graphics\faces & all the faces are in it, and yet nothing is happening! & of course I ticked “always reload skin on confirm” & unticked “use skin cache”. does it have anything to do with the “show player and staff pictures” option ?!

  2. Moo says:

    Man, I tried everything, and I dunno why its not happening! my patch is 10.1.0 ,& the kits & logos are in folder : C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\data\sigfx\graphics , & they are working fine! plz advise what you think I should do! even if its installing them again! Im open for anything now! :S

  3. Johnny Karp says:

    @Moo
    Just take some time to read what I’m telling you, the pictures should NOT be in …Program Files\whatever… they should be in
    My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2010/graphics/pictures
    See the difference?

    • Gio says:

      Hey Johnny, listen, ive read everything, done everything i needed to, i downloaded the facepack for serie a and followed through with everything, however its only worked for the players of palermo and not all the teams, can you run through the steps for me again please?

      Many Thanks

      • Johnny Karp says:

        @Giovanni
        From what I understand you downloaded a different facepack, not this one. Normally the steps to follow should be more or less the same but I guess you should check the instructions for that particular facepack from where you downloaded it. If it shows the pictures for Palermo’s players than the other ones should appear too. How do you have the files, all of the pictures in one folder or a folder for each team?

  4. Moo says:

    I actually did so, the faces are in : C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\graphics\pictures , but they dont work, while the kits & logos are in the data\…! and they work !
    I dunno man…i know im bothering u with this, but you are my last resort!

  5. Johnny Karp says:

    @Moo
    Again, see the difference between Program Files and My Documents?

  6. Moo says:

    ooooooooooooh my God !!! im sorry man! I wasnt focusing on the starting part i was just focusing on the ending whether its “pictures” or “faces” inside the “graphics” part!!! thanks man :D !!!

  7. Johnny Karp says:

    No problem, I hope you’ll sort it out now.

  8. Boris says:

    Hello Johnny!

    I have extracted all the files, and I can see the pictures in the folders… But there is not “names” under each picture… There is some numbers… I am new to this, so don’t blame me… How do Fm 10 know which picture belongs to which person, when the pictures is with numbers? I hope for an answer! by the way thanks for the upload! Enjoy your day!

  9. Johnny Karp says:

    @Boris
    Each player and staff is assigned an unique number, that’s the explanation. You can see those exact same numbers in the game if you select “show unique IDs” or something like that in the game preferences.

  10. Boris says:

    Oh okay! Thank you alot! I will try that out tommorrow, and I hope that it will work! Thank you for your fast respons! I really appreciate it ;) Goodnight!

  11. Boris says:

    Now I have these 27 folders. Should I put each of these 27 folders in my folder called “pictures”?

  12. Johnny Karp says:

    @Boris
    If you extracted the files you should have just one folder with all the pictures in it, not 27 folders.

  13. Boris says:

    Mhmm… Then I extracted them in a different way… I think that it will work although if you have 27 folders or 1 folders… I have the PNG pictures with an unique ID… Do you think that it will work if I put all the pictures in 1 folder, and then put the folder in “pictures”?

  14. Johnny Karp says:

    @Boris
    That’s a good solution, put all of them in one folder named “faces” and them put that folder in “pictures”. That’s how I have them in my computer.

  15. Boris says:

    Okay thank you SO much Johnny! I really appreciate it! Have fun, and enjoy your day! Thank you again!

  16. Johnny Karp says:

    @Boris
    No problem mate, have fun!

  17. Boris says:

    Hello again! I have this problem :( I have all the PNG pictures in 1 folder. I placed the folder to the folder called “graphics” and then I ticked “always reload skin on confirm” and I unticked “use skin cache”. I tried first of all to find a player. In my case I chose Wesley Sneijder. I found his ID and then I tried to find the ID in the folder with all the pictures in. I found him, so there is nothing worng with the pictures… But it seems like I can’t get them on my screen in FM10… I tried to rename the folder “faces” “facepack” “players” but it won’t work… I can’t get them into FM10… I hope you can find a solution to my problem!

  18. Johnny Karp says:

    That’s weird. Make sure you also have the config.xml inside that folder with all the pictures. As I said, mine are in graphics/pictures/faces.

  19. Boris says:

    Oh :S I don’t have the “config.xml” in my folder… I didn’t get one of those config.xml whit the downloads… Can I get it somewhere else?

  20. Boris says:

    Oh! Never mind! I have found out how it works! Now I have all the pictures! Thanks again my friend! I won’t ask you more more :) Thanks! Enjoy! Cheers! :)

  21. Raul says:

    that facepack is updated to 2010?

  22. Zoltan says:

    Hey,

    I downloaded the Megapack from the torrent link, but it says “Error in packed file” when trying to open the zip file (size: 2,759,404,889). Any idea?

    • Johnny Karp says:

      Zoltan, the torrent link is provided by somebody else so I don’t know what happens there. However I did test that torrent download and it worked file, the files extracted with no particular problem. You could try to download it again, maybe the file didn’t download completely.

      • Zoltan says:

        Hi,

        Ok, I downloaded it again, and I have the same error message: “Error in packed file”… With what packer did you zip the files?

  23. Moo says:

    Johny! hey im sorry man its been a long time without me replying back! I had some unknown problems, i deleted the megapack then reinstalled and suddenly it worked :D !! thanks for your help man!

  24. Kiezo says:

    Hello I dont really know if you can help wit this but I re-installed my game with steam and now all the logos and pictures are gone.
    Will installing this help it or nor?

    • Johnny Karp says:

      I don’t understand exactly what happened, did you have this pack previously installed or not? Anyway, some logos and pictures should show with or without this pack so I’d suggest you to check your installation and game preferences, something might have gone wrong.

      • Kiezo says:

        I didnt have anything previously installed I just decided to install it again using steam to update as I am useless at putting files in or anything

        • Johnny Karp says:

          Well I can’t tell what happened. Did you uninstall the game properly before re-installing it? Anyway, if you didn’t have this pack before re-installing I can’t see how adding it would solve your problem.

          • Kiezo says:

            OK thanks anyway it was worth a try.
            And I definitely uninstalled it properly

          • Johnny Karp says:

            One last thing, you could also check the in-game preferences and see if you selected the options to display player faces and team badges, I remember there were such options but I might be wrong.

  25. Kiezo says:

    I’ll try uninstalling it again but it may not help

  26. babben says:

    I want to use the faces on a websites, is that possible? And what about the copyrights on the pictures?

    • Johnny Karp says:

      Well, I’m not a legal expert but my guess is that as long as you do not sell the pictures you should be alright. Those who hold the legal rights might ask you to remove the pictures if you put them up for free but if you plan on selling them then you might end up in a painful lawsuit. But again, I’m no expert in this matter.

  27. babben says:

    I will absolut not do any sales, I will just use the pictures in a program and a website for footballstats etc.! :o )

  28. Danilo says:

    I have tried many things, but I can’t make it work.

    I have the faces AND the config.xml file at Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2010/graphics/pictures/faces, I have done everything following the instructions, ticked and unticked the correct boxes in “Display and Sound”, made sure that the face load option was enabled, but none of that worked.

    By the way, I also tried different folder combinations, like placing the faces and the config files in “graphic/pictures”, “graphic/faces”, “graphic/pictures/faces/Megapack” and “graphic/pictures/Megapack”.

    I simply can’t figure out what to do!

  29. Danilo says:

    Just figured it out.

    I went to “Preferences > General > User Data Folder” and realised that the Folder Location was wrong. So, I redefined it to the correct folder in “Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2010…”

  30. EDEN KANE says:

    Hi, just downloaded the face pack but not to sure where to add. I am running game through steam. I have looked on folder in my laptop and found files for manager but not any for graphics. Where do i put them and how, thanks

  31. dagrin says:

    thank you soo much they worked perfectly although they were some curropt images but those guys arent in my game; so theyve probably retired or they werent in my medium database but thank you sooo much

  32. Koop says:

    do you know where i can get the separate “config.xml” file? i accidentally deleted it and I don’t wanna download the whole 3gig zip file. it takes too long! might you know which split file the .xml file is located?

    • Johnny Karp says:

      @Koop
      I’m not at home right now, I would have sent you the .xml file. I have no idea exactly in which split file it’s located either, sorry. Hopefully somebody will send you the .xml file, otherwise you will have to wait until Sunday when I’ll get back at home. You could try the last split file though, (number 27) the smallest one, there is a chance it might be in there.

  33. Koop says:

    Johnny, the zip files have o be ALL downloaded I think in order to unzip them? I’m not sure but I’ll try to DL the last one. anyway, “waldo_perfecto@yahoo.com” is my email add. if any of you have the time, please send me the config.xml file of the megapack. thanks guys!

    • Johnny Karp says:

      I think you can extract just one of them, I never tried but it could work.

      • Koop says:

        well, I DL’d the split file 27 but there are 2 file name extensions, .zip.027? my zipeg doesn’t recognize it. so I guess I’ll just have to wait for the torrent DL to finish again or wait til Sunday… whichever comes first

  34. Koop says:

    fixed! i DL’d crossover for mac & fmxml! but the problem is, not all players from chelsea fc have faces… is it just me or is it really incomplete???

  35. Aleksander says:

    The right path would be My Documents/sports interactive/Football manager 2010/graphics/players

  36. azfar says:

    thank u damn much ure such a big helper.!!!!!!!

  37. ZeShaldinho says:

    My laptop crashed and I had to re-install FM 2010. I’ve downloaded the facepacks and logos packs as split files. Now I’m trying to extract them (the 27 files for the facepack and 19 files for the logos) using peazip but they dont seem to be extacting to the graphics folders. It just send a zip folder to the graphics folder.

    What am I doing wrong?

    • Johnny Karp says:

      You just have to extract that zip file too, that’s all. Until now you only put the 27 pieces together with PeaZip which resulted in the big zip file.

      • ZeShaldinho says:

        Thanks Johnny- I’ve tried that for both files and it starts to unzip but then says ’2: Fatal error ocurred’. I’m usually pretty savvy with computers but this is driving me crazy,

        • Johnny Karp says:

          I really can’t understand what’s going wrong there, sorry. You could try to use another program to unzip those files, I don’t know.

          • ZeShaldinho says:

            Cheers Johnny,I’ve managed to get them both to work!! I used winzip in the end.

            I still don’t have the main club logo on the club screen, but I suppose I can do without.

            Do you think this is an issue with the config file, like with the kits?

            If anyone can think of anything to do about it, let me know, otherwise thanks for all the help.

            Cheers,
            ZeShaldinho

  38. Jordan says:

    I downloaded the 27 bits and It says that the files are in an unknown format so i cant even see the pictures and when i extract them using winrar or winzip the files are still in an unknown format so i cannot even view the pictures!!

  39. Matt says:

    Hey man–

    I’ve installed fm 2010 through Steam, and I’m having a nightmare of a time getting the megapack to work. First of all, there are two “Sports Interactive” folders in my documents. I am not sure, but I used the one with my save game data in it. Second, there is no “graphics” folder in there — there is a “skins” folder with a “config.xml” file in it. I started by creating a “graphics>faces” folder and putting the images in there. It didn’t work. Then I put them in the “skins” folder, thinking they needed to be with the “config” file. That didn’t work either. Then I tried putting them in the other “Sports Interactive” folder, and that didn’t work either.

    I am pretty sure that I’m doing everything right — “reload skins on confirm” and all that.

    Any ideas about what’s going wrong?

    • Carson says:

      *Sigh*

      That’s because you aren’t supposed to make a “graphics>faces” folder. You’re supposed to make a “graphics>pictures” folder.

      Hope this helped.

  40. Nishantana says:

    Hi Johnny !
